Welcome to the Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching. CELT is an interactive, on-demand, innovative support center for teachers and learners. Currently the Center is evolving as next-generation instructional tools create instructive learning environments favorable to increased online learning opportunities. This page will take shape and form over fall semester as we identify best practices, websites and tools.
Greg C. is the Director of Academic Applications. His primary tasks are:
- cultivating optimism in order to demystify and tame the “beast” of educational technology;
- developing innovative online courses;
- providing next generation teaching & learning applications for online and onground teachers;
- identifying and evaluating authentic learning/teaching technology tools; and
- closely monitoring the realities of being a scholarly practitioner (by currently teaching onground and online courses).

Greg C. is the Instructional Technologist in CELT. His primary tasks are:
- overseeing BlackBoard operations for online and blended classes;
- orienting new faculty to BlackBoard;
- managing technological aspects of classroom (both virtual and onground) technology;
- identifying and evaluating authentic learning/teaching technology tools;
- serving as the technology resource for online teachers and learners.
